No-nonsense, military style, unisex size Mido Multifort from the 1940's. The Mido company was the first to utilise early waterproof wristwatches, with the famous case-maker 'Francois Borgel'.

 

Dial: Original, silvered radium dial which has aged to a 'spider' effect. Internal 24-hour track, printed in red. 


Hands: Original radium 'pencil' hands, blued steel. Sub-seconds.


Case: The famed Francois Borgel made, decagonal waterproof case, in steel. Original 'hubcap' crown. Satisfyingly unpolished. 28mm.


Calibre: Mido 1002, manual-wind. 'Pinstripe' finish. Protected by a dust-cover.

 

Straps: Paired with an all-original steel Bonklip bracelet.
