The only oval-shaped chronograph caliber ever made.


A completely unique watch, the Gallet Commander was made for a short decade (1938-1948). and hardly do you see them with a black dial with this depth.

1. The only caliber to ever be made in an oval shape.
2. The first chronograph to record 45mins in duration.


Dial: Sharp and mint, glossy black gilt dial. 

Hands: White painted skeleton hands. 

Case: Stainless steel, snap-back. 29mm. Excluding crown. Original pushers. Case-back engraved: 'To Bill, from Bernice 4-18-42'.

Calibre: Excelsior Park 42. Serviced and runs well.

Strap: Vintage Gay Freres ladder bracelet, stainless steel.
