Rare. An extremely early Heuer reference 5408, with super distinctive oversize sub-dials, giving it its nickname. A no-joke chronograph circa 1947.
Dial: Rich gilt-black dial with dark, aged radium text.
Hands: Radium-filled 'syringe' hands, matching the numerals and markers.
Case: Crisp, unpolished, chunky screwback stainless steel. 35mm. 11.5mm thick!
Calibre: Manual-winding, Valjoux 23, signed Heuer.
Straps: Vintage style 18mm.
