SOLD - 1960's Birks RCAF Monopusher Military Chronograph

Birks for RCAF.

 

Made by Birks for the Royal Canadian Air Force in the 1960's, with a beating heart that is a Venus 178 single-button chronograph - a veteran movement. Among Birks, Omega, Lemania, Rodania and Breitling were also commissioned.

 

Dial: Ivory/cream dial with minor marks.

Hands: Radium-filled, blued 'syringe' hands. 

Case: Stainless steel, screw-back. 35mm excluding crown. 

Calibre: Manually wound Venus 178.

Strap: Fitted with 17mm straps.
